So you are interested in who I am.
Alright so, Welcome to my blogging page. My name is Stanley Chiu, I am a student of HKUSPACE International College, a freshman studying a Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Media Cultures offered by the London Communication College, University of Arts London.
So who am I? Apart from being a student in Hong Kong, I am a freelance actor, editor, bartender and a full-time procrastinator. Passionate in acting on screen and on stage, I’ve featured in a handful of student films and theater shows, took parts in minor voice acting roles in movies, I was also a part of a 10-episode coming-of-age web series about cultural identity in Hong Kong called Pineapple 菠蘿, which was released in November 2018. I love sports, especially football and rugby, having played 5 years of club rugby at youth level and being a private football coach for kids. I also took up photography as a hobby and I do love to cook as well.
So why am I doing this blog? Aside from it being one of my assignment and that it counts 50% of my class (so i’d be screwed if I don’t do it), I realized it would be a good way to reflect on a week of learning, express and share some of the rather interesting finds I encounter during my studies in class or in a reading hence blogging would be a good practice for me to piece my thoughts together.
